Southwest Public Schools recently celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a district-wide series of events honoring the rich history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Schools hosted activities including traditional dance performances, art exhibitions, and bilingual readings, engaging students, staff, and families in the festivities. All employees came together to highlight the importance of celebrating diversity within the district, noting that the months of September and October serve as an opportunity for our community to connect with their cultural roots and learn from the vibrant heritage of their peers.
