Houston, TX – March 22, 2025

Southwest Public Schools is thrilled to announce that the Marvy Finger Family Foundation has approved the addition of Southwest Public Schools to its list of scholarship recipients. A substantial contribution in scholarships will be awarded to the graduating senior class of 2025.

The Marvy Finger Family Foundation, based in Houston, TX, is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to underserved students, ensuring they have the financial support needed to pursue higher education. The foundation's mission focuses on empowering students through education, and it has a long-standing commitment to fostering academic success by offering scholarships that cover tuition, books, and other related expenses for college-bound students.

The scholarships are aimed at helping students who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also a commitment to leadership, community service, and personal growth. Recipients will be selected based on their achievements, character, and potential to contribute to their communities.

Dr. Felicia Adams, Superintendent, shared her gratitude, stating, "We are immensely honored to have been chosen by the Marvy Finger Family Foundation. This partnership will open doors for our students and give them the chance to pursue their post-secondary dreams without financial barriers."
