Hello Parents please don't forget to fill out these forms so you can attend next weeks Children's Museum of Houston visit "Parents and Students ConocoPhilips Family Math Adventures"!! Admission is free, so there is no need to pay for anything. From what I've heard, there are a few buses available to take everyone on December 8th, 2022 at 4:45P.M. The whole family is invited to this trip, so lets go student & parents alike! There will be fun hands -on activities for all to enjoy! Complements of the Albert and Ethel Herzstein Charitable Foundation, Wortham Foundation, Inc., Laura and John Arnold, Katherine G. McGovern/McGovern Foundation, Houston Pi Beta Phi Foundation, and The Junior League of Houston, Inc.. Coming soon... the Bissonnet Elementary HCPH Connect: Resource Navigators in our campus! Come one, come all parents who need help in applying for state benefit programs & financial assistance program. The event starts on Dec. 7 from 8:00AM-10:00AM, and on Dec. 13 from 4:00PM-6:00PM in the Parent Center. Professionals will come to our school to help you apply for programs that allow you to receive: food benefits, cash help, health care, WIC, and financial assistance. All you need to bring are the following that apply to you: Proof of Identity, Immigration/Citizenship Status, Veterans benefits/Worker's Compensation/Unemployment, Social Security/Supplemental Security Income(SSI), Military Service Documents, Proof of Texas Residence, Proof of Income, Medical Costs, and Rent/Mortgage Costs. "NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED!!" Any bissonnet families are welcomed, hope to see you there.

Hoy la ciudad de Houston ha levantado el aviso de hervir el agua y todas las escuelas y oficinas de SWS abrirán el miércoles 30 de noviembre.El Departamento de Mantenimiento está purgando las líneas de agua en preparación para el regreso seguro de los alumnos y empleados mañana.
No habrán clases y el distrito estará cerrado, mañana martes, 29 de noviembre 2022 debido al Aviso para Hervir Agua en la cuidad de Houston.

We are always amazed and humbled by the power of connections and the generosity of strangers. Through an unexpected gift, we were able to hold a second Thanksgiving turkey giveaway this evening. A very gracious “Thank You” to Nadia Salazar and her colleagues at @NextGen Real Estate for their donation of 25 turkeys for our Bissonnet families! And, a grateful nod to her neighbor who baked cakes for the families, as well. Connections in the spirit of service, care and compassion make such a positive impact for our students. #gratitude
SWS District will be closed November 21 - 25, for Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume on Monday, November 28, 2022.

"TEACHERS AND STAFF!!!" Let us give a "BIG" thank you to the parent "Vilma Garcia". Who has given us the sweet treat commonly known as "CAKE!!" as an appreciation gift from her to the school. So let us show our appreciation by taking a bite from it tomorrow during our Thanksgiving Lunch and think of how thankful we are to her and her family for this lovely gift offered to our school, and keep being awesome at what we do.

Parents please make sure that if you are attending to enter via the other building where the Pre-K students come to school; not the cafeteria, please. Thank you!!
